Chin Up, Girl Internship Program

The Chin Up, Girl Internship Program offers high school and college students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting a mission rooted in dignity, care, and community empowerment.

Interns support the day-to-day work of Chin Up, Girl while developing practical skills, exploring nonprofit operations, and contributing meaningfully to programs and events that serve women in transition.

This program is ideal for students who are:

Interested in nonprofit work, social impact, marketing, or community engagement
Seeking real-world experience in a mission-driven organization
Reliable, curious, and willing to learn
Comfortable supporting tasks and projects under supervision

No prior nonprofit experience is required.

Program Overview

Internship Length

8–12 weeks (Spring, Summer, or Fall)

Time Commitment

Approximately 5–10 hours per week

Format

Hybrid (remote and in-person opportunities, depending on role)

Compensation

Unpaid; eligible for school credit or community service hours when applicable

Internship Roles Available

Interns are placed in one of the following roles based on interest, availability, and organizational need:

Marketing & Social Media Intern
Community Engagement & Events Intern
Program Support Intern
